Project Description
Work parties will take place on the first Tuesday of each month from 09:00am to 13:00pm .
The work parties will cover general woodland maintenance i.e. scrub clearance, habitat generation, pathway maintenance and help with coppicing. You will use hand tools only. Work will vary from light to heavy so volunteers will only be expected to work within their own abilities.
You will need to dress for the weather. The wood can be very muddy! There will be some bramble clearance so expect some damage to clothing. Weeleyhall is a large woodland so expect to do a lot of walking. Please wear robust footwear.
Please bring your own refreshments.
