Project Description

Hackfall ancient woodland has been restored to its former glory and boasts original features such as grottos and glades, rustic temples and waterfalls, as well as carpets of bluebells in spring and an impressive number of woodland birds.

In this role you will use your natural enthusiasm, people skills and your passion for nature, history and stories to help us engage with visitors to ensure that they have an exceptional experience during their first and subsequent visits to the woodland.  Through the delivery of your walk you will also deepen our visitor’s awareness of the work of the Trust and the opportunities available to those interested in supporting our work and visiting other Woodland Trust sites.

You will be supported in your role by a lead volunteer that will help to coordinate your activity; this is in addition to your volunteer manager.
