Project Description

Meetings usually take place on either a Monday or a Sunday. Start at 10.00am and end at 3.00pm, although people are allowed to arrive late and leave early, as they wish. There is no future commitment, just come when you can, although we do ask you let the leader know if you are planning to attend, so the appropriate number of tools and refreshments can be arranged. Tea/coffee and biscuits are provided, but volunteers bring their own snacks and lunch. Tools and training provided. Working/gardening clothes appropriate for the weather should be worn plus stout boots – trainers do not really provide sufficient protection for working on rough ground with tools. Children under 16 are welcome when accompanied by a parent/carer/guardian.

Unfortunately, steep slopes and uneven ground make this project unsuitable for those with restricted mobility. If in doubt, please ask.
