Placement Opportunity. Dorset Wildlife Trust’s South and East Dorset Teams deliver conservation and community engagement work across east Dorset and Purbeck. This is an unpaid position for four days a week with particular days arranged with reserve staff. Accommodation and inhouse training are provided.

Project Description
You will be based at the Villa on Brownsea Island with some activities at other South and East Dorset centres and reserves. Driving licence essential. Tasks will include assisting with the practical management of the Brownsea Island Nature Reserve (and at times, other DWT nature reserves) and assisting with public engagement activities e.g. guided tours for groups and schools, wildlife activities, general enquiries about wildlife and the reserve. In addition, there will be opportunities to plan and implement species survey and monitoring. Accommodation will be provided in a furnished flat in the Villa on Brownsea with shared facilities.
