Project Description

Our practical conservation volunteers are an essential part of the team working on nature reserves across the county. Volunteers help with practical conservation management to maintain the sites special features for now and for the future.

This wetland reserve of Feckenham Wylde Moor has a high diversity of wildflowers, wetland birds & insects, particularly dragonflies. Tasks include pond clearance, coppicing, pollarding, fencing and scrub cutting.

Twice a month - work parties take place on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10am.  In summer, tasks are survey work and footpath maintenance.
