Project Description
Our practical conservation volunteers are an essential part of the team working on nature reserves across the county. Volunteers help with practical conservation management to maintain the sites special features for now and for the future.
Set in the urban surroundings of Redditch, Ipsley Alders Marsh nature reserve is a breath of fresh air. A marshland setting, this reserve is home to some of Worcester’s rarities including marsh stitchwort and blunt-flowered rush. Work here involves maintenance of the scrub and wetland areas.
One morning once a month - work parties take place at Ipsley on the 1st Sunday of the month at 10am -1pm
