Project Description
This project has been running for 30 years alongside the A369 road between Bristol and Portishead, near to M5 J19 Gordano.
More details are in the recently updated leaflet, a copy of which is onthe website.
It is an unusual site, being alongside a busy main road but that keeps it very much in the public view. It's on a regular bus route too.
Health and Safety is of paramount importance; high-vis clothing is provided and, when necessary Traffic Management.
Parts of the site are steep so stout footwear, preferrably protective, is recommneded.

The main work is Autumn 'haymaking' and Winter scrub-clearance with Spring and Summer reserved for monitoring etc. One constant is removal of litter - a constant requirement. Commitment can range from as little as an hour occasionally to a regular survey (one volunteer checks monthly)
