Project Description

The MSN Hotline volunteer acts as the liaison between the public reporting a stranding to us and our network of trained Callout volunteers to coordinate strandings to be recorded and photographed.

We are ideally looking for volunteers who can commit medium to long term, working from home, maximum one day a week. We are very interested in hearing from you if you could be available to help on cover the hotline on a weekend day. We’re also very interested in volunteers who could help cover odd days when others are not available.

About the Training

Training date for the MSN Hotline volunteers is on the 25th July from 6pm to 9pm.

This training will cover all the basics of being a Hotline Coordinator for MSN and is aimed for people wishing to join the MSN volunteer team. We'll be running thorugh the background of the project, and what manning the Strandings Hotine involves; form what information to get to logging information and calling out volunteers.
