Everyone Needs a Shed!Project Summary
As part of the 'Durlston Pleasure Grounds' project, the 'Shed' is a new accessible, community work base to enable people of all ages and abilties to socialise, learn new skills, and volunteer in support of Durlston Country Park.

Project Description
We have many activities available: From working to grow trees and other plants, traditional rural crafts such as basket weaving, spoon carving and many others. You can join us to take part in whatever you wish, or just pop in for a friendly chat.
Everyone is welcome at The Shed. Regardless of age or ability, if you want to teach, want to learn or just want to stop in for a chat you are welcome to come along and join us. We have tasks to suit all comers including gentler work. The Shed welcomes those with disabilities, dementia or long term health problems to join in and enjoy Durlston.
The shed can be found in the woodland at the southern end of Durlston Road, Swanage, BH19 2JJ. Head to our website for more information on how to get ehre and our lift-sharing scheme "Durlston Neighbourcar".
