Project Description
This year, the census will take place on Tuesday 22nd October starting at 7:25am.
We asking for the help of a large number of volunteers to take part. Surveyors will need to travel independently and meet up with a partner to survey an area allocated to them. Routes normally take between 45 and 90 minutes depending on length.
A cooked breakfast is provided at the Knoll Beach Café in Studland afterwards as a reward for the early start, and completed survey forms are also handed here.
You do not need to have attended any of the previous surveys to take part — everyone is welcome – novices can be teamed up with experienced partners and training can be arranged.
