Project Description
The DMV group bring with them a variety of practical skills including habitat management, hedge-laying, fencing, and dry-stone walling. The merger has increased EuCAN’s skills and knowledge base, and has provided all EuCAN volunteers with the opportunity to broaden their interests and experience.
We usually start at 10am and finish working at 15.30 in order to leave the site by 16.00.
Please note that usually there are no toilets on the worksites.
Participants should have current tetanus immunity, wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear, bring work gloves and safety glasses if possible (some spares are available), be prepared for extreme weather (bring waterproofs/suncream), bring own lunch.
We provide leaders, information, training, instruction and supervision, tools and protective equipment, first aid kits.
