Nature’s Calendar is all about phenology, the study of seasonal changes in plants and animals from year to year. So if you look forward to seeing snowdrops flowering in spring, collecting ripe blackberries in summer, watching leaves change colour in autumn and spotting birds migrating for winter, then this is the project for you.

Climate change is one of the biggest factors impacting nature in the UK. Join an army of citizen scientists in tracking and recording seasonal changes, thereby providing a crucial source of evidence as to how wildlife is responding to climate change across the UK. There are 69 different trees, shrubs, flowers, birds, grasses and fungi to record, so there’s something for everyone.
