Project Summary
Helping to control the spread of bracken on a site by bashing/cutting several times over a season, this in theory weakens the plant and allows us to push back its spread. This is used as an alternative to chemical control as bracken can form dense stands and out compete other heathland plants.

Project Description
All tools, equipment and biscuits provided, a lift is available from the office 655a Christchurch Rd for tasks. Wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring own lunch. Tasks usually run from 10am until 3pm.
