We will be working to remove bracken stands, tree suckers and brambles that are encroaching on the meadow at Oak Avenue Nature Reserve. The meadows are managed for biodiversity by LBRuT.

Project Description

Please wear long-sleeves to this event as bracken sap/spores can irritate skin, and we will be clearing prickly seedlings (bramble, hawthorn, blackthorn) so let's reduce scratch risk!

Meet at the Oak Avenue Nature Reserve entrance located on Oak Avenue, Hampton, at 10am. Look for the TCV van.

  • suitable outdoor clothes (that will keep you warm the whole day)
  • hat & sunblock
  • suitable outdoor footwear (it can be muddy in places)

We provide hot drinks, so please bring your own mug (and spoon).
