• Supporting the team with running events throughout the year, including helping to set them up with equipment, displays and running stalls or activities to engage with visitors.
• You could engage with children and families throughout the main season through ‘impromptu’ activities, no matter what the weather
• You could help design and run interesting outdoor activities for children
• Liaise with wider Acorn Bank staff about any success so it can be help promote future activities and events
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with property staff, other volunteers, the local community and visitors of all ages, while taking due care for their welfare on Trust premises. You will acquire the necessary knowledge of the property, and the work of the National Trust.
• Becoming familiar with and then following the National Trust’s Health and Safety Policy at all times
