Walk Leader
Tamar Valley Walk Leader
Project Summary
We would like to recruit new walk leaders to support the current walking groups. This role is open to anyone 18+ with a reasonable fitness. The level of commitment depends upon the availability of the volunteer – ideally, at least once a month, but could be once a week, if available. First aid training provided if desired.

Project Description
- All walkers participate at their own risk, therefore it is your responsibility to be fully prepared for the walk.
- Be aware that routes may be muddy and conditions can change so wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing. A walking stick is useful too.
- Also consider bringing a drink and snack, should you require it, particularly for longer walks.
- Toilet facilities may not be available.
- All walks may be subject to change/cancelled.
- Need more inspiration? Tamar Valley and Saltash walker Juliette has written a short article on Walk & Talk; we’ve published it on our blog here.
