Project Summary

We are looking to build a team of volunteers to support our Animal Care Team maintain the welfare for our animals. The role would involve supporting with the basic daily care, cleaning, feeding, routine health care and maintenance of our rehomed animals which include Chickens, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Pygmy Goats, Donkeys and Sheep.

Project Description

Supporting on weekdays at least 1 day or 2 half days between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm.

Activities you can assist with:

• Cleaning animal enclosures and shelters
• Providing fresh, clean water daily.
• Providing fresh feed when required under guidance.
• Collect and label eggs for sale
• Complete paperwork
• Liaise with the public, students and volunteers about the work you do and requirements of animal care in an engaging way
• To support with grooming all animals.
• Help to maintain excellent health and safety on-site
