Project Description

Typical tasks might include:

• Nature Restoration: Tree ringing, non-native seedling removal, creation of wildlife ponds and fire mitigation
• Path and sign maintenance: path repair and drainage, litter collecting, cutting back overhanging branches on paths
• Woodworking: Building benches, waymarkers etc.

Tasks will be assigned according to what is appropriate at that time of year and given the physical skills and fitness of those attending. Where training is required, this will be provided at the start of the session and use of tools will be monitored during the day by Session Leaders and Volunteer Rangers.
